Making a booking

• Bookings are for a minimum of 2 guests
• A booking is confirmed only when we've received the advance and told you so in writing
• Prices are per person and depend on the size of your group
• A government photo ID is required for every guest at check-in

House rules

• No alcohol anywhere on the property
• No smoking anywhere on the property
• Please keep noise down — most properties are small and shared
• A government photo ID is required for every guest at check-in
• Unmarried couples are not accepted at our properties
• Pets are not allowed

Check-in and check-out

Rooms are booked for 24 hours — check in from 12:00 PM, check out by 11:00 AM. If the room is free before or after that, we can usually give you an extra hour or two. Just ask at reception, don't assume it.

Children

For children under 10, the charge depends on the room and whether you need an extra bed or mattress. Tell us their ages when you enquire, and we'll confirm the exact amount before you pay anything.

Meals

What's included changes with each package. We'll confirm exactly which meals are covered before you pay.

Transport and boarding

Packages start from Pollachi by default. We can also pick you up from Coimbatore airport, Coimbatore railway station, or another point — the extra charge depends on distance and vehicle, and we'll confirm it with you before booking.

Paying

Pay 20% advance to confirm your booking. Pay the rest at check-in, by UPI or bank transfer — we don't accept card payments online.

We don't take card payments on this website, and there's no online checkout. Anyone asking you to pay a Valparai Paradise booking any other way isn't us — check with the number on this page first.

Valparai Paradise is registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam UDYAM-TN-03-0162717. No GST is added to the prices quoted here.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancel 7 or more days before travel — full refund of what you have paid
• Cancel less than 7 days before travel — no refund
• No-show on the day — no refund

Changes to your itinerary

Valparai sits inside a tiger reserve and the weather does what it likes. Forest-department rules, landslides, roadblocks and heavy monsoon can close viewpoints, safaris and whole roads at short notice.

Where that happens, we'll substitute the nearest equivalent and tell you why. It's not a reason for a refund, and no operator in Valparai can promise otherwise — but we'll always explain the change rather than quietly drop a stop.

Wildlife

Sightings of elephants, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and hornbills are natural events. We know where the animals have been recently and we'll give you the best chance we can, but no sighting is guaranteed and none is refundable.

Keep your distance, stay in the vehicle when your driver says to, and don't feed anything. Elephants in particular are dangerous and estate roads are their roads.

Liability

We're not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, roadblocks or government restrictions, nor for loss of personal belongings. Damage to a property or a vehicle caused by a guest is chargeable to that guest.

You're responsible for telling us about medical conditions, mobility needs or dietary requirements before travel so we can plan around them.
